Chutney is such a thing that mouth watering takes its name, whose taste is sour and pungent. Chutney is mainly serve in India which is a spicy or savory condiment Chutney is made from fruits, vegetables, and herbs like mints,coriander ,besil by using red green chillies ,lemon, salts sugar, and spices of india like cloves, black pepper, cte .
Broadly, the word chutney is now applied to anything preserved in sugar and vinegar, regardless of its texture, ingredients, or consistency. It is serve with snacks and food thali. So guys I have given you all the recipe here you must try at your home. 👍
Coconut chatney
Ingredients
1 cup coconut nut powder or fresh grated coconut
1cup gram dal ( chana dal),
1 cup peanuts ( mungaphalee or seengdana),
¼ teaspoon sugar,
2 cup curd ( dahi)
¼ cup water
I inch ginger
4 or 5 green chillies
And salts as per taste
For tempering ( tadaka)
2 table spoon of oil
1 stalk of karee leaves
1teaspoon mustered seeds
And 3 to 4 red chillies or as per your taste
Method
•Roast the peanut and chana all separately now let them cool down for few minutes now rubb them together to remove outer covering of peanut collect them in a bowl.
Now add half curd , peanut and chana dal in mixer blend to form a coarse mixture.
Now add rest of curd, water, ginger , green chillies, again blend these all together.
Then collect chatney in a bowl add salt and sugar. In this stage you can customize your chatney's consistency as per your choice add lil more water.
Now add oil in heated pan add mustard, chillies, karee leaves, let them crack for a minute then add this tempering to the chatney quickly and cover the chatney bowl so that flavor of tadaka infuse in all the chatney.
Now your coconut chatney is ready to serve with all south Indian cuisine like idali, dosa, appam, bajji etc.
Peanut/ groundnut moongaphalee chatney
Ingredients
1 cup of roasted peanut
2 stalks coriander leaves
3 or 4 green chillies
½ inch ginger
3 or 4 Garlic
½ teaspoon cumin seeds and dry coriander
½ cup of water
1 table spoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Method
Take a grinder jar put all ingredients together and grind them well add water to customize the consistency. Guys this chatney is tasty as well healthy too and if you want you can serve it without tempering / tadaka, if you want you can go with that method of tempering as previous one chatney has used

This chatney can serve with snacks and south Indian food .
South Indian tomatoes chatney
Ingredients
2 large Tomatoes, finely chopped
1 medium Onion, finely chopped
3-4 Garlic ,cloves, finely chopped
6-7 Dry Red Chillies (to taste)
1/2 tablespoon Chana Dal (Split Bengal Gram)
1 tablespoon grated Dry or Fresh Coconut,
¼ teaspoon Mustard Seeds, dry coriander
6-7 stalks of Curry Leaves
2 tablespoon Cooking Oil
Salt to taste
Method
Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan or a kadai over medium flame. Add mustered seeds ,dry coriander, chana dal and sauté until it starts to turn light brown and nice aroma releases. Add dry red chilli and saute for 10-12 seconds. Add curry leaves, garlic, cloves, saute for few seconds and then add onion keep sauteing for 1 or 2 minutes then add fresh coconut and tomatoes add salts saute till cook well, then pore all this into a bowl and let them cool after 10 or 15 minutes this chatney add in mixer jar and make smooth paste now your tomatoes chatney is ready to serve with dosa or idali.
Hari chatney
Ingredients
1 cup of roughly chopped coriander leaves
1 cup of roughly chopped mint leaves
½ inch ginger
4-5 garlic and
4-5 Black pepper
3-4 cloves
Salt to taste
2 table spoon of lemon juice
5-6 green chillies (or to taste)
½ Cup of cold water
Method
take all ingredients in mixer jar grind them well with adding cold water ( by using cold water and lemon juice the colour of green chatney is retain green) . Now serve this chatney with pakodas and any India snacks can also use it inside the sandwich stuffing.
